The Georgia football team will be bowling again this year, and they'll take on Texas A&M in the Independence Bowl. The only other time the Bulldogs have played in the Independence Bowl was in 1991 when the Dawgs faced then non-SEC foe Arkansas. Georgia won that game 24-15 and were led by quarterback Eric Zeier. You can read Eric's blog right here on Georgiadogs.com

The second meeting, however, was more memorable as Georgia defeated the then-Red Men 70-67 in the third round of the East Regional of the 1983 NCAA Tournament.
