Georgia Gymnastics Television Schedule Announced

ATHENS, Ga. --- Six of Georgia’s regular-season meets will be televised in 2010 including three meets on national television, it was announced Monday. All six meets will be televised on a tape-delay basis.
The Gym Dogs’ meets against Alabama and LSU will be shown on ESPN2 on Jan. 24 and March 7, respectively. ESPNU will broadcast the Georgia-Florida meet on Feb. 25.
CSS will televise Georgia’s meets at Auburn on Feb. 2, and FSN South will air home meets against Kentucky (Feb. 13) and Arkansas (Feb. 20)
The SEC Championship in Jacksonville, Fla., will air on ESPN2 on April 4.
Georgia and Alabama will be the most-televised SEC teams in 2010 with six meets apiece. Florida is next with five followed by Auburn and Arkansas with four.
With six televised meets in 2010, 61 of Georgia’s 88 regular-season meets over the last eight years will have been televised. The five-time defending national champion Gym Dogs open the season at home against Stanford on Jan. 9.
