102 Football Players Graduated Since December 2004

ATHENS, Ga. --- The 11 University of Georgia football players who graduated last month bring the total number of Bulldog gridiron graduates to 102 since December of 2004.
That’s averaging about 25 per year over the four-year period and “is a great testimony to our academic counseling staff, the emphasis we have tried to put on graduation, and most of all to our players who have to be the ones to actually get it done,” said UGA head coach Mark Richt.
There are also five former players who have returned to finish degrees. Former NFL players Randall Godfrey and Terreal Bierria are back in school along with more recent players Kelin Johnson, Chester Adams, and Ken Shackleford.
