Gym Dogs Recognized For SEC, NCAA Honors

ATHENS, Ga. Members of the Georgia gymnastics team were recognized during Saturday’s football game between the Bulldogs and Central Michigan.
Prior to the game, Cassidy McComb was honored as the SEC Freshman of the Year, while Grace Taylor (beam) and Courtney McCool (floor) were recognized for their individual national titles.
During a first-quarter break, Suzanne Yoculan stepped onto the field to be honored as the National Coach of the Year.
Then at halftime, the entire Gym Dogs squad was recognized for winning the program’s fourth straight national championship. Director of Athletics Damon Evans presented the members of the team their rings.
