Lady Hardmon Grooms To Appear On HGTV

Athens, Ga. --- Lady Hardmon Grooms, a two-time first-team All-SEC performer for the Georgia Lady Bulldogs, will be featured on the HGTV television show Deserving Design this Sunday (August 17) at 1:30 p.m. ET.
Deserving Design is hosted by popular designer Vern Yip. According to the HGTV website, Deserving Design is a "feel-good design show that gives a break to the people who really need it the most. Deserving Design is uplifting and empathetic and showcases Vern's remarkable talent and warm sense of humor."
Hardmon was chosen to highlight her work with local girls basketball players. Hardmon and her husband, Wendell, host basketball camps and clinics on a basketball court in the backyard of their Atlanta-area home.
Hardmon was a standout guard for the Lady Bulldogs form 1988-92. She was tabbed first-team All-SEC by league coaches in both 1990 and 1992 and helped Georgia to the SEC Championship and NCAA "Elite Eight" in 1991.
Hardmon went on to a standout professional career both in the WNBA and overseas. She played eight years in the WNBA with the Utah Starzz and Sacramento Monarchs and also competed professionally in Hungary, Italy and Turkey.
