Colwill, Tarantino Come In Fourth In Olympics

BEIJING --- Former Georgia standout Chris Colwill came in fourth in men’s 3-meter synchronized diving on Wednesday at the Olympics.
Colwill and Jevon Tarantino finished fourth with a score of 410.73.
The China tandem of Wang Feng and Qin Kai claimed gold with 469.08 points, followed by Russia’s Dmitry Sautin and Yuriv Kunakov with 421.98 points and Ukraine’s Illya Kvasha and Oleksiy Prygorov with 415.05 points.
Colwill will be competing in the men’s 3-meter springboard preliminaries beginning on Monday. Colwill was a three-time national champion with the Bulldogs and a two-time NCAA Diver of the Year. Georgia diving coach Dan Laak is serving as an assistant coach for Team USA at the Olympics.
