ATHENS, Ga. --- Former Georgia football All-American Bill Stanfill has been chosen for induction into the Regions SEC Business Hall of Fame, according to an announcement made by Regional Financial Corporation and the Southeastern Conference.

Stanfill played for the Bulldogs from 1966-68, leading Georgia to a 25-6-2 record, three bowl games and two SEC titles. Stanfill won the Outland Trophy as the nation’s top lineman and was a three-time All-SEC selection. He also played for eight seasons with the Miami Dolphins.
Stanfill is the president and broker of Dozier/Stanfill Real Estate Company in Albany. His company provides real estate brokerage in rural, farm, timber and recreational properties.
“Since 1933, the Southeastern Conference has provided educational and athletic opportunities for thousands of student-athletes,” said SEC Commissioner Mike Slive. “We are proud of their many accomplishments and salute Regions for its willingness to recognize the contribution these former SEC student athletes are making in business and their communities.”
