ENTRY FEE: To be paid during packet pick-up at meet site on Saturday morning or mailed to: Bulldog Stampede UGA Cross Country PO Box 1472 Athens, GA 30603 Payable to: UGA Athletic Association $100 per team per gender (5 entered runners = team) $200 per combined teams
ENTRY PROCEDURE: Entries will be handled through Direct Athletics. To enter your team, visit www.directathletics.com. If you are a new user, you will need to create a new account. (Click on “New User,” then click “Create TEAM Account” and fill in your team information.)
ENTRY CONFIRMATION: Teams entered into the meet will be posted on www.cfpitiming.com.
TEAM SCORING: Men’s and Women’s Varsity teams will be allowed 10 runners. Team scores will be computed by totaling the top five runners’ finish positions. The 6th and 7th runners will count as pushers. Runners 8-10 will not be figured into the team scores but will be given official times. Junior Varsity teams will have unlimited entries.
HIGH SCHOOL INFO: Oconee County High School will co-host the Bulldog Stampede. High schools will be directed to Dave Hartman at dhartman@sports.uga.edu or Kendra Todd, Oconee County HS, kendrabtodd@gmail.com. All high schools competing must be members of the Georgia High School Athletic Association. The Bulldog Stampede is sanctioned by the GHSA. Oconee County High School contact is Kendra Todd and Gwen Peck, Cross Country Coach, gpeck@oconee.k12.ga.us.
COURSE: All grass, rolling hills, and well-marked with extremely good footing
COURSE INSPECTION: The course will be available for inspection on Friday, September 21 from 3 pm to 6 pm.
