No. 1 Bulldogs Eyeing Another SEC Title
The No. 1-ranked Georgia men’s golf team is on a roll as it embarks on the most important part of the season.

Top-Ranked Georgia Men's Tennis Heads To SEC Tournament
The No. 1-ranked Georgia men’s tennis team (23-0, 11-0), the two-time reigning Southeastern Conference regular-season champion, heads to Baton Rouge this weekend for the 2007 SEC Tournament. Georgia is the No. 1 seed and will receive a first-round bye.

SEC-TV To Profile Bulldog Legend Dan Magill
Dubbed one of the greatest ambassadors of college tennis, former University of Georgia men’s tennis coach Dan Magill officially retired from the Bulldog athletic department in September of 1995, ending a 59-year association that began in the 1930s when Magill was a batboy for the baseball team. Jenn Hildreth heads to Athens to visit with this living legend, who coached the Bulldogs from 1955 to 1988 and is nationally known for building the country’s finest collegiate tennis facility, a facility that now bears his name.

Georgia Men's Tennis Earns Six All-SEC Selections
For the second consecutive year, the Georgia men’s tennis has seen all six of its starters selected to All-Conference teams. Additionally, senior John Isner (Greensboro, N.C.) earned his second straight Southeastern Conference Player of the Year accolade and head coach Manuel Diaz was voted as the SEC Co-Coach of the Year alongside Alabama’s Billy Pate. Diaz also won that award outright in 2006.

Gym Dogs Travel West For Regional Action
Georgia will be looking to qualify to the NCAA Championships for the 24th consecutive year when the team travels to Denver for the North Central Regional. The Gym Dogs have won 18 regional titles including a home victory last season.

The University of Georgia Athletic Association is accepting donations on behalf of UGA football player Michael Lemon and his younger brother, Marquez (15), who suffered the loss of their mother.

Wallace Named SEC Coach of the Year

he Southeastern Conference coaches recognized Georgia’s stellar season by awarding Jeff Wallace as Coach of the Year, Yvette Hyndman as Freshman of the Year and tabbing four Bulldogs as All-SEC selections, the league announced Tuesday.

Swafford Honored Again As SEC Player Of The Week
Hudson Swafford of the Georgia men's golf team has been named the SEC Player of the Week, according to an announcement Tuesday by the league office.

NCAA TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS TICKETS
ON SALE NOW!
The University of Georgia will be hosting the 2007 NCAA Men’s & Women’s Tennis Championships at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex May 17-28. All-session ticket packages are now on sale and can be purchased online www.georgiadogs.com or by calling the Athletic Association’s ticket office at 1-877-542-1231 during the week between the hours of 8:30 am-4:30 pm.

Adult Grandstand tickets are $100 and Youth Grandstand tickets are $55. These tickets are good for all sessions and action played on the main Stadium Courts and McWhorter Courts.

Also, a limited amount of all-session passes are still available in the Robert H. West Pavilion located between courts 3 and 4. This package is $125 and features chairback seating on the court level.
