Did you ever compete in gymnastics? If you did, where? Can you tell me more about your gymnastics carrer?

Dear Alexis:

I started gymnastics when I was 13 years old. I loved it right from the beginning. The uneven bars was my favorite event. I competed only in high school; there were no private clubs at the time. I was recruited by Penn State and attended that school because of gymnastics. I never competed, though, as I pursued a major in dance and worked with children in the local gym.
