Four Bulldogs Named Rivals.com Freshman All-Americans

ATHENS, Ga. --- University of Georgia football players Knowshon Moreno, Trinton Sturdivant and Rennie Curran have been named First-Team selections to the Rivals.com Freshman All-America teams.
In addition, the Bulldogs' Clint Boling was a Second-Team pick on the Rivals.com squad.
Moreno, a redshirt freshman from Belford, N.J., has rushed for 1,273 yards for an average of 106.1 yards per game and 12 touchdowns. He is the 12th Bulldog in school history to rush for more than 1,000 yards, including six 100-yard games. Moreno has received several national and Southeastern Conference player of the week honors this season.
Sturdivant, a native of Wadesboro, N.C., started all 12 regular-season games at tackle for the Bulldogs. He became the first true freshman to start at that position in a season opener since Mike Fellows in 1989.
Boling, a true freshman from Alpharetta, started the final nine contests for Georgia. He also logged some time at tackle this season for a Bulldog offensive line which featured three freshmen starters for most of the year.
Sturdivant and Boling have helped the Bulldogs roll up more than 379 total yards and 31 points per game this season. Sturdivant, Boling and their line mates have surrendered just 15 sacks this year.
Curran, a true freshman from Snellville, has appeared in 10 games, including four starts. Curran ranks fourth on the team with 46 tackles, 39 of which were solos. He rolled up 13 tackles in the win over Kentucky and was named SEC Freshman of the Week.
The fourth-ranked Bulldogs finished the regular season 10-2, winning their last six games. Georgia will learn its bowl destination on Sunday.
