What's changing about GXtra?
You may have noticed that georgiadogs.com is sporting a fresh new look. Along with the improved look of the site, we've rolled out lots of other great new features for fans, including a totally new GXtra experience! You'll still get access to all the great video you're used to, plus more. We've redesigned our video library to make it easier for fans to find just what they're looking for. We've also updated our video player, and we've moved to a 16x9 widescreen format so you see more of the action. But that's just a sample of what's new. There's tons more to discover!
I was already a subscriber, so what does this mean for me?
Customers who were subscribers on our previous site will continue to be subscribers on our new site. Your username and password will remain the same, and will be required beginning August 1st, 2006, at the end of the current promotional period. If you are a monthly subscriber, you will need to complete a simple re-subscription process to continue your service. If you had previously purchased an annual service account, then your account will continue to function through the full 12 months for which you have already paid, after which you will need to complete a simple re-subscription process.
For example, let's say Hairy Dawg signed up for the annual GXtra pass on February 1st of 2006. Hairy's account will be converted to the new GXtra automatically, and Hairy will continue to get access to all the great audio and video available until January 31st, 2007.
What is this email about "re-subscribing"?
As part of our great new feature rollout, georgiadogs.com has partnered with leading Internet solutions provider XOS Technologies to power the new GXtra. This exciting new partnership puts cutting-edge tools and technologies in our hands, which means a better experience for you, the fan.
However, as part of the transition to the new georgiadogs.com, and for the security of our fans, credit card information cannot be duplicated from our previous site to the newly redesigned site. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cost, but please understand that the reasoning is entirely in the interest of our customer's credit protection. Your username, password, email address and other account information, however, will remain the same and will be automatically converted to the new GXtra service.
What is the promotitonal period GXtra is offering?
Through the entire month of July, GXtra will be offered free to every Bulldog fan. We want everyone to see just how great GXtra really is. Fans who sign up for the annual pass by July 31 will get the entire month of August free as well, and a free Georgia fleece blanket.
For existing annual subscribers:
First, we thank you for being our customer, and we hope you are as excited about our new site as we are. Second, we encourage you to go ahead and renew your GXtra account today. As an incentive to do so, existing GXtra subscribers who renew by September 3rd, 2006 will lock in their annual rate of $89.95 and get the Georgia fleece blanket free! An additional 12 months of service, plus 1 free month will be added onto your account.
For example, Hairy Dawg, who is a current subscriber and who's annual account will continue until January 31st, 2007, decides he'd like to take advantage of this great offer to renew. Hairy gets the free fleece blanket, an extra 12 months of service, and a free month of service. Hairy is all set now to watch every great GXtra video until February 28, 2008! Good dog, Hairy!
