ATHENS, Ga. - The University of Georgia soccer team continues spring season play on Saturday, April 1, as the Bulldogs host a squad of former players in friendly competition at the Turner Soccer Complex. Originally schedule for 6 p.m., the game has been moved up to 11:00 a.m. and admission is free of charge.

"I'm really excited we've got some terrific young ladies coming back for this event," said Georgia head coach Patrick Baker. "Some of them I will be meeting for the first time and some I have not see in a while so we really want to take advantage of them being here. It is an opportunity for us to show them our new complex, show them what we do on a regular basis, have them meet the new team and find out how we can continue to involve them in the process. Georgia women's soccer has a very good history and we need to make sure that we keep bringing those players back, make them feel important and make sure they appreciate some of the great things they were able to accomplish as student-athletes."

Georgia will continue its spring exhibition schedule on Saturday, April 8, with a 6 p.m. game against the Region III Olympic Development Program (ODP) U-17 squad.
