2006 SEC Football All-Freshman Team Announced

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- All 12 of the Southeastern Conference football squads are represented on the seventh annual SEC Coaches’ All-Freshman Team, it was announced Thursday.
Kentucky led the way with four selections. Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Mississippi State and Tennessee have three each, while Georgia Matthew Stafford and Kade Weston), Ole Miss and South Carolina added two on the rookie squad. Vanderbilt had one member on the team.
Tennessee center Josh McNeil was the only player to be a unanimous selection to the team. SEC Freshman of the Year and SEC Championship Game MVP Percy Harvin of Florida also received a spot on the annual listing.
