November 23, 1995 - In Ray Goff's final regular season game as the head coach of the Dawgs, Georgia recovered from a 14-0 deficit to win 18-17. Georgia was led by the versatile Hines Ward, who finished the day with 242 yards passing and one TD. Kanon Parkman's 47 yard field goal with 0:47 on the clock sealed the victory for the Bulldogs.

November 23, 1996 - True freshman, “Champ” Bailey made his first start at cornerback against Ole Miss. “Champ” teamed up with his older brother, “Ronald”, to be the first brother to start a UGA football game since 1990 when the Wynn brothers played.

- The new UGA Equestrian team makes history with its first home competition.

November 23, 2003
- Georgia places a league-high 54 student-athletes on SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll.

November 23, 2005
- Liz Murphey, UGA's first senior woman administrator and a pioneer in women's athletics, died. As a hall of fame golf coach Murphey led the Lady Bulldogs to six top-10 finishes between 1979-85. She also oversaw the hiring of many of Georgia's most successful coaches, including Jack Bauerle, Beans Kelly, Andy Landers, Jeff Wallace, and Suzanne Yoculan.
