Hey Bulldog Fans,
So the weekend was a lil' disappointing. First of all, USC scoring so early hurt, and then our loss to LMU. Yeah, first loss of the season. It hurts the pride a little bit not to be able to say you are undefeated anymore. And what happened to our shut out streak? I need to get back on the ball eh? Ok,Ok we will this weekend. I will do my best.
Although we didn't do as well as hoped, we still had an awesome time in California. It was actually kinda chilly, which I must say was nice for a change to need a jacket outside during the day. We had some funny and some not so funny moments on the trip. Lets see some highlights....well leaving at 6:45am is definitely on the top of my list. Then as soon as we get into the ATL airport, Ali noticing rapper David Banner. We all basically jump him and his posse and beg for a picture with him. Then as we board the plane we see Chili from TLC...does it get much better than that?...yeah so we basically stalk her all the way to baggage claim where we ask her to come to our game. Obviously she couldn't make it, but it was worth a try.
The hotels and food were excellent. It was always fun to hear Cort going "I haven't been rejected yet, guys". You can't forget Cort and Missy's dancing and singing to the oldies before warmups. The funniest thing that happened was Bruce yelling for the back of the bus...."Aleeeexxxx, Aleeexxx" right after we accidently left Alex at the restaurant and had to pull the bus over to go back and get her. We love you Alex!!
Lastly, eating Sunday night at Tony P. at the harbor, our table of 8 decided to sing every slow jam we could think of out loud. I don't know about the rest of my teammates, but I think we should stay in LA and try to get a contract. Shoot, we sounded just like the Spice Girls or something like that. All in all the trip ended with a 7:30 arrival in Athens, where I think the entire team was sleep-walking off the bus and then to classes.
