ATHENS, Ga. - The No. 8 University of Georgia men's tennis team (9-2, 2-0) defeated the No. 15 Auburn Tigers (9-1, 0-2) by a score of 6-1 Sunday afternoon at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. 23rd-ranked sophomore John Isner clinched the Bulldog victory for the fifth time this season, as he topped Alex Schweizer at the No. 2 spot, 6-3, 6-4. Georgia has now won 19 consecutive home contests.

I'm really proud of the guys and their effort," said head coach Manuel Diaz. "We had a very good weekend, it is a real confidence booster. We have made a lot of progress in the way that we prepare for and approach matches. We need to continue to work hard though, we are still relatively young and it does not get any easier from here."
