Final Rankings: AP: #7; USA Today/Coaches: #6

With a 10-2 season, the 'Dogs registered 10 or more wins for the third straight year--only the second time that has happened in Bulldog history. Georgia's season ended with a 24-21 victory in the Outback Bowl, the 'Dogs' third straight post-season win, and leaving the Bulldogs ranked among the nation's top six teams for the third straight year.

Along the way, Georgia defeated defending national champion LSU, beat Florida for the first time since 1997 and knocked off Georgia Tech for the fourth consecutive year.

Georgia's Attendance Average Ranks Fifth Nationally

Georgia's average home football attendance of 92,746 ranked fifth best in the country for the 2004 season according to NCAA statistics.

The 92,746 figure represents a sellout in all six Bulldog home games. The fifth-place finish marks the 18th time in the last 23 years that Georgia has ranked among the nation's top six teams in average home attendance. It's also the 22nd time in the last 23 years the Bulldogs have finished among the top seven.
