Georgia Remains Fifth At Lady Puerto Rico

Dorado Del Mar, P.R. --- The No. 4-ranked Georgia women's golf team knocked seven shots off its first-round score at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic during Tuesday's second round but remained in fifth in the team standings entering the final round.

The Lady Bulldogs posted a 305 on Tuesday at the Dorado Del Mar Country Club and are at 617 through two rounds. Georgia trails No. 7 Auburn by 21 shots with 18 holes to play. Behind the Tigers are Florida at 603, TCU at 605 and Tulsa at 614.

Senior Natalia Nicholls paced Georgia with a 1-over 73 on Tuesday, with additional counting rounds coming from Jackie Beers and Whitney Wade, who both shot 77, and Kelly Froelich, who shot 78. Allison Martin posted an 86.
