Joe Tereshinski, Sr.
Lettered at Georgia in 1942, '45, and '46 playing for head coach Wally Butts. 1942 team finished 11-1 winning the SEC title and was named the consensus national champions, defeating UCLA, 9-0, in the Rose Bowl. 1945 team finished 9-2-0, defeating Tulsa in the Oil Bowl. 1946 team went undefeated (11-0-0), won the SEC title, beat North Carolina, 20-10, in the Sugar Bowl and was named national champion in one of the final polls (Williamson). Tereshinski was named the Associated Press All-SEC second team end in 1946. Drafted by the Washington Redskins in the 1947 NFL draft and played defensive end for the Redskins from 1947-54.

Joe Tereshinski, Jr.
Native of Washington, D.C., he lettered at Georgia in 1974-75-76 playing for head coach Vince Dooley. Starting center on the 1975 Cotton Bowl team (9-3) and the 1976 SEC Champion Sugar Bowl Team (10-2). Winner of 1975 Coffee County Hustle Award which goes annually to the player who demonstrates the most desire and hustle in spring practice. He was also the recipient of the Wallace Butts Memorial Award, Hugh Hendrix Memorial Award, and Wallace Butts family scholarship. He has been a member of the Georgia staff since 1982 serving in several capacities including assistant strength and conditioning coach, administrative assistant to the head coach, and video coordinator.

Wally Tereshinski
Son of Joe, Sr., and younger brother of Joe, Jr., Wally lettered in 1976 and '77 playing for head coach Vince Dooley. He was a starting TE on the 1976 SEC champion Bulldog Team.

Joe Tereshinski, III
A third-generation letterman, he is the grandson of Joe, Sr., and son of Joe, Jr., he is a graduate of Athens Academy in Athens, Ga., and is currently a fourth-year junior at UGA having lettered in 2004. In addition to his backup QB duties the past three years, he has served as the personal protector for the punter in 2004 and has filled in as the deep snapper in the 2003 season opener vs. Clemson and the 2005 Outback Bowl victory over Wisconsin. Had not attempted a pass in a game until the 2005 season opener vs. Boise State. This season, he has played in all seven games, completing 13 of 23 passes for 207 yards with 1 int.

John Tereshinski
Younger brother of Joe, III, currently a redshirt sophomore playing TE at Wake Forest. He has played in seven games this season and has five receptions.
