Trio of Bulldogs Open Fall Tournament Season Friday

Georgia's first event of the fall season begins Friday at the Ole Miss Invitational in Oxford, Miss. The Bulldogs began fall practice Sept. 7. Georgia returns four letterwinners, and it has a pair of newcomers in sophomore Caroline Basu and freshman Anastasiya Shevchenko. Basu, a native of Germany, and Shevchenko, a native of Ukraine, trained in Barcelona, Spain before coming to UGA. Sophomores Shadisha Robinson and Natalie Frazier along with Shevchenko are scheduled to participate in the first event of the fall season. Robinson and Frazier will be in the A singles flight while Shevchenko will be in the B flight.
