UGA Equestrian will be holding open tryouts for currently enrolled, full-time UGA students in August, for the 2004-2005 season. The coaches will be looking for upper-level riders with a strong background in equitation and/or horsemanship. There will be approximately nine positions open for walk-ons. Please refer to the following information regarding times, requirements, etc.
Timeline:
- August 19th - Mandatory meeting 6pm in the Coliseum Auditorium
- August 24th and 25th - Riding tryouts at the ANS Arena on South Milledge
- August 27th - Final roster posted on the door of office 257 in the Coliseum
Requirements:
- Full Time female UGA student (12 hours)
- Proof of Medical insurance (bring to meeting)
- Proper riding shoes (must have heels and cover ankles)
- Able to run the mile in less than 10 minutes
