NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Georgia tennis players Bo Hodge and John Isner were named First-Team All-SEC at the 2004 Southeastern Conference Men's Tennis Tournament banquet Wednesday evening in Nashville. In addition, Isner was named the 2004 SEC Freshman of the Year, as voted by the league's coaches.

"This is a great honor for both John and Bo," said Georgia head coach Manuel Diaz. "They have both worked extremely hard in both singles and doubles all year."

With Isner taking home the 2004 SEC Freshman of the Year distinction, it marked the third honoree from Georgia since the awards inception in 2000. Two-time NCAA Champion Matias Boeker won the inaugural award in 2000 with Hodge taking the honor in 2001.

This year Hodge collected his fourth straight All-SEC accolade, making him the first Bulldog to earn conference honors four straight years since Steven Baldas did so from 1995-98.
