The Bulldogs hit the road this weekend to face two of their most played rivals with matches at South Carolina on Friday night and at Tennessee on Sunday afternoon. Georgia owns a 32-11 lead in the all-time series over the Gamecocks and trails the Lady Vols 23-22. Only Florida (46) and Kentucky (44) have played the Bulldogs as many times as this weekend's opponents.
Last year Georgia swept South Carolina in two four-game matches for the first time since 1998. Tennessee has won six of the last 10 meetings over the Bulldogs and five of those 10 matches have gone to five games. CSS will televise the Georgia-Tennessee match live at 3:30 p.m. EDT.
Georgia Rolling with Wins in Five of Last Six
Georgia is coming off two wins over SEC Western Division foes Arkansas and LSU last weekend in Athens. Both victories came on the heels of 3-0 losses to those teams in late September. The win over Arkansas was Georgia's first since 2000 and helped the Bulldogs move to fourth in the RickKern.com/AVCA South Region rankings.
