Hello to everyone! Wow, the first month and a half has gone by so fast! But it has been so much fun and a lot of hard work! I hope everyone is getting ready to see some awesome gymnastics, wonderful girls, and the best team unity ever! Every single person on this team is working for the same goal...NCAA Champions!! So let me recap what has been going on these past few months so everyone can see how the Georgia Gymdogs are coming together...

Our first day of voluntary was Wednesday August 18th, and we got right to business. I know the freshmen were a little nervous but it turned out to be a lot of fun! We began working hard with our strength coaches, Keith Gray and Emily Chones. As much as I used to hate doing conditioning it is a completely different thing here at UGA. Every exercise, all the running, the lifting, and jumping is all team oriented. I know that if I begin to struggle I will have fourteen other girls right there cheering me on, and we all know it has happened to all of us at least once since we started. It makes you want to come to strength with a good attitude and give it all you got! Also, we have been getting our groove on with Becky, our aerobics instructor. Getting a good workout but doing something different is so exciting. Again, all of her workouts are team oriented as well. So, little by little, day by day we have been getting back into great shape. We are going to be lean, mean, Gymdog machines!
