ATHENS ----- Basketball coach Dennis Felton announced today that he has added three members of his coaching staff at Georgia: Pete Herrmann, a 23-year veteran of coaching at the NCAA division I level, Ken McDonald, a Rhode Island native who has coached alongside Felton the past nine years, and Bert Tucker, who also comes to Georgia from the Western Kentucky program.

''I am very pleased to have Pete, Ken and Bert join our staff,'' Felton said. ''They are fine coaches, some of the best in the industry, and have been a critical part of the success that I've enjoyed as a head coach the past five years.

''When I select people, the first and most important factor that I consider is whether or not they are leaders of men, the kind of person I want mentoring and leading my own son. These three are tremendous leaders who will be truly committed to our players, their dreams and the ambitions of Georgia basketball. Our coaching staff will always make the Georgia family proud.''
