STARKVILLE, MISS.---Sixth ranked Georgia posted a 7-0 win over Mississippi State Sunday at A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre.

Georgia (13-1, 8-0 SEC) captured the doubles point and then swept the singles matches over Miss. State who falls to 6-11, 0-8 SEC.

In doubles, the No. 3 duo of Tina Hojnik and Evgenia Subbotina posted a quick 8-1 win over opponents Patricia Assumpcao and Yumi Ueda. The No. 2 spot of Alex Smith and Douglas Wink along with the No. 1 duo of Lori Grey and Agata Cioroch followed suit with victories over their opponents giving Georgia a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.
