FAYETTEVILLE - Fifth-ranked Georgia blanked Arkansas 7-0 here late Friday at the Dills Indoor Tennis Center.

The Bulldogs (10-1, 5-0 SEC) claimed the doubles point and then swept through the singles matches as the Lady Razorbacks fall to 7-6 (0-5 SEC). Georgia continues the roadtrip at LSU on Sunday.

Georgia got off to a quick start by securing the doubles point, winning all three doubles matches. The Bulldogs clinched the point at No. 2 when UGA's Evgenia Subbotina and Alexandra Smith defeated Simona Arghire and Melissa Cornett, 8-4. Georgia's top-ranked No. 1 doubles team of Agata Cioroch and Lori Grey breezed past Arkansas' Anna Dybicz and Iliana Pacheco, 8-2. The number three duo of Douglas Wink and Tina Hojnik dispatched Ferreira-Morton 8-1.
