Greene and Pollack Headline Returnees To Defend SEC Title

*OFFENSE: QB David Greene: A 6-3, 227-pound Junior native of Snellville, Ga.
*2002 SEC Offensive Player of the Year and a First Team All-SEC selection by the AP and SEC Coaches
*Career Record of 21-5 as Georgia starter including 8-0 on opponent's home field, winning @ #6 Tennessee, #21 Ga. Tech, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt in 2001; @ #22 Alabama, #24 Auburn, South Carolina and Kentucky in 2002;
*In 2002, led the SEC and was 18th nationally in Passing Efficiency (137.3), 4th in SEC in Total Offense (205.1) and 3rd in Passing Avg./Game (208.9)
*Five 4th quarter comebacks in his career (Clemson, @#22 Alabama, @#24 Auburn in 2002; @#6 Tennessee, Kentucky in 2001)
*22 TD Passes in 2002 ranked 3rd most in Bulldog history for a season *MVP of the 2002 SEC Championship Game in 30-3 win over #22 Arkansas (17-for-29, 237 yards, 1 TD)
*Set Completion Percentage Record in 48-17 win over Vanderbilt, 20-for-23 (87%), 319 yards, 2 TDs
*CBS Player of the Game in 27-25 win over #22 Alabama, Georgia's first-ever victory in Tuscaloosa
*Twice tied School Record this season with 4 TD Passes in 52-24 road win at Kentucky and 45-7 win over NW St. in Athens
*Combined with D.J. Shockley vs. Kentucky to set Bulldog record with 6 TD passes in a game.
