Hodge, Isner Prepare for ITA National Indoor Championships

By winning the ITA Southeast Regional Championship doubles title, the fifth-ranked doubles team of Bo Hodge and John Isner secured a spot at the 2003 ITA National Indoor Championship in Ann Arbor, Mich. Later this week, Hodge will find out if he is an at-large selection into the tournament. Hodge, who is ranked No. 2 in the ITA preseason rankings, reached the semifinals of the Southeast Regional before falling to eventual tournament champion Romain Ambert of Mississippi State.
The 2003 ITA National Indoor Championships, the second of three national championships for collegiate tennis this season, will be hosted by the University of Michigan November 6-9. The four-day event features a 32-player singles field and 16-team doubles field for men and women. The ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships, the nation's premier collegiate indoor tennis tournaments for Division I men and women, will be hosted by Michigan at its Varsity Tennis Center for the first time after a nine-year stint with Southern Methodist University at the Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas.
Isner and Hodge win doubles crown at ITA Southeast Regional Championships
Georgia's Bo Hodge and John Isner won their second doubles title of the season with a 9-7 victory against the 10th-seeded team from Alabama at the 2003 ITA Southeast Regional Championship at the Racquet Club in Memphis Oct. 20.
