Georgia tennis took on a little different look this fall as four returnees and two transfers were in action for the Bulldogs. Senior Nicolas Boeker and junior Bo Hodge were Georgia's two top players in the fall season.
Boeker topped Georgia Tech1s Roger Anderson, who was ranked No. 20 in the Omni Hotels preseason rankings, in three sets during the Southern Intercollegiates and won two matches in the Icy Hot/ITA All-American Championship (qualifying) to reach the main draw. After losing in the first round to second-seeded Tobias Clemens of UCLA, he reeled off four wins to reach the finals of the consolation draw before falling to Stanford1s David Martin. Boeker reached the Round of 16 in the Omni Hotels Regional Championship, including a win against eighth-seeded Chad Harris of Vanderbilt in the Round of 32.
