Gym Dogs to Help on All-Women's Habitat House

Athens, Ga.----The Georgia gymnastics team is taking part in the first Athens Area Habitat for Humanity all-women's project this Friday.
The house is part of the Women Building a Legacy campaign which Habitat for Humanity International hopes will lead to the construction of 100 homes across the United States by all-women volunteer teams.
The Gym Dogs will be hanging shingles on the roof of the house on Friday.
"The community has supported the gymnastics program for the last 20 years and the team has made a commitment to give back," said head coach Suzanne Yoculan. "This year our first project is the Habitat house."
Last fall the Gym Dogs helped to raise more than $25,000 during a Celebrity Roast of Coach Yoculan at the Classic Center in Athens. The funds that were raised helped support the Athens Chapter of Special Olympics, The Clarke County Mentor Program and the Athens West Rotary Foundation.
