The Liars & Legends - S.E.C. Show, which was produced by Jennifer Wysocki, John Parry, Michael Phillips, and Teague Kennedy, was a 30-minute special that featured three segments, one of which highlighted Uga VI. It was hosted by Bubba Knight.
The documentary tracked the Georgia mascot's activities at a Saturday football game in Athens as well as his daily life in Savannah, Ga., including history of Uga and interviews with owners Sonny and Cecelia Seiler.
"This is an exciting development for all of us," said Sonny Seiler. "I did not know that the show had been nominated for an Emmy, so I was not sitting around waiting for anything to happen.
