Georgia Soccer Prepares for Busy Weekend

ATHENS, Ga. -- The University of Georgia soccer team heads into a busy off-season weekend as they host a fundraiser tournament Friday night, March 1, and face the WUSA's Atlanta Beat on Sunday afternoon, March 3.

The Georgia Soccer team hosts the 4v4 All-Nighter Challenge, an indoor tournament at the Ramsey Center with teams comprised of UGA students, including two teams comprised of Georgia soccer players. Play begins at 9 p.m. Friday and lasts until 9 a.m. on Saturday. The tournament is a fundraiser for UGA's participation in the KICKS Against Breast Cancer tournament in Germantown, Md., April 6.

The Bulldogs will have little time to catch up on sleep as they face the WUSA's Atlanta Beat on Sunday. The match is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start on the campus of Agnes Scott College in Atlanta.
