With the 4-0 victory over Mississippi State on Saturday, the second-seeded Georgia Lady Bulldogs advanced to the round of 16 and will face the No. 18 Baylor Bears Thursday at the Lincoln Tennis Center in Stone Mountain, Ga.

The Lady Bulldogs have already faced Baylor once this year, back on Feb. 10 in Athens. Georgia defeated the Bears 6-1 at the Lindsay Hopkins Indoor Courts. Georgia also won the sole other matchup between the two teams in 1986 by a margin of 7-0.

Rankings:

Georgia fell to No. 4 last week, following Stanford, Duke and Tennessee. Georgia gave Duke its only loss of the season, and defeated Tennessee for the SEC Tournament Championship. In individual rankings, six Lady Bulldogs remained ranked among the top 100, while Georgia's doubles duo of Aarthi Venkatesan and Lori Grey are No. 14. The final team and individual rankings will be released on June 1 following the NCAA Championships.
