Georgia Baseball Game Rained Out

ATHENS-----Wednesday's Georgia baseball game with Georgia State has been cancelled due to rain.

Fans with tickets for the game may exchange those for general admission tickets to any remaining home baseball game during the 2018 season, pending availability.

Up next, the Bulldogs (7-1) head to Charleston for a stretch of five games in five days beginning Friday. Georgia will play a three-game series with College of Charleston (6-2) followed by single games at Charleston Southern (4-4) on Monday and The Citadel (3-4) on Tuesday. Game one of the series with College of Charleston will be Friday at 6 p.m.
 
All Georgia baseball games are available on the Bulldog Sports Network from IMG. Additionally, Monday's game at Charleston Southern will be televised on the Big South Network and on bigsouthsports.com. The Bulldogs will return home to Foley Field on March 9 for the Toledo series.
 
In related television news, this year's Georgia-Ga. Tech baseball game at SunTrust Park, slated for May 8 at 7 p.m., will be televised live on the SEC Network. The neutral site game is also known the 16th annual Spring Baseball Classic that benefits Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The Bulldogs hold a 10-5 edge in this event including an 8-7 win last season at SunTrust Park after 14 years at Turner Field.
