LONG BEACH, Calif. — The Georgia women's golf team closed out a dominating performance at The Gold Rush on Tuesday by winning the team title and having four Bulldogs notch top-10 individual finishes.

"We played really solid from start to finish today," head coach Josh Brewer said. "In the middle of the day, we made a push to build a little bit of a lead and found a way to finish it. This is he first time this group has won together so I'm really excited to see them accomplish that. I'm proud of them and how they performed out here."

Georgia completed the 54-hole event at 19-over 883, five strokes ahead of runner-up Brigham Young.

Individually, Rinko Mitsunaga and Paula Neira Garcia tied for third at 5-over 221, Isabella Skinner tied for fifth at 222 and Gabriela Coello tied for seventh at 222. Those represent career-best finishes for Coello, Neira Garcia and Skinner.

"We have a lot of depth, and we feel like we are really good at every spot in our lineup," Brewer said. "I think this will give us more confidence going forward. No matter what number someone is playing in the lineup, we feel like we're as good as any team in the country."

The four Bulldogs who contributed team scores posted 55 pars. Skinner led the way with a 2-under 70, while the Bulldogs also counted a 73 from Neira Garcia, a 74 from Coello and a 75 from Mitsunaga. Elisa Yang shot 76 and tied for 39th at 229.

Skinner's day featured only one bogey and a trio of birdies. She teed off from No. 2 with the shotgun start and bogeyed No. 6. From there, Skinner birdied No. 9, No. 10 and No. 14 to post the low loop of her 49 rounds of her collegiate career. Her previous low was a 1-under 71 at both the 2015 Windy City Collegiate and the 2014 Cougar Classic.

"I think I just trusted my abilities and the work I've done," Skinner said. "The only difference between yesterday and today was the lack of trust I had in myself. I came out today determined to hit every shot as confident as I could and every putt as confident as I could. A few more fell today because of that. I can't ask for more."

Stephanie Carras, who was competing as an individual, posted an even-par 72 and finished tied for 15th at 225. Both her score on Tuesday and her 54-hole tally in are career-best efforts in her young career.

Georgia will return to action on March 11-13 when the Bulldogs compete in the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at Long Cove Club in Hilton Head, S.C.

"I'm so proud of all the girls on the team," Skinner said. "We've really worked hard these past couple of months. The fall didn't go the way we wanted it to. We know we're good enough to win tournaments, and we came out here determined to do that. I feel like this momentum will carry over into the rest of the spring. I'm really excited."
